PLACE is a publicly-supported non-profit organization working to build a strong, accessible local food culture in the Athens, Georgia area.  Your charitable contribution directly funds PLACE’s projects.  Current projects include supporting the Athens Farmers’ Market, supporting educational food gardens at public schools, developing standards-based educational garden curricula, hosting quarterly Athens Food Activist Networking Sessions (AFANS), and community outreach programs.
